A Cornucopia of Prop Newspaper Clippings!
HPLHS Prop Set for Call of Cthulhu Classic features a sixteen page broadsheet newspaper featuring 45 prop newspaper articles and a plethora of bonus material to support the many scenarios contained in the Chaosium's Call of Cthulhu Classic. We're offering it independently from our prop set for collectors who hate to cut up their original paper, or to get the paper without the rest of the prop set (but trust us, you want the rest of the prop set).
This carefully designed prop document recreates a variety of newspapers from a variety of times to give Keepers all of the relevant clues they'll want and need to play these classic adventures. It is printed on both sides on newsprint on an actual newspaper press - it feels and even smells like the real thing. Just leave it in the sun for a few days to get that nice aged effect! The articles relevant to games are surrounded by real newspaper articles from the time, advertisements, and much, much more. Half the paper is upside down so you get twice as many front pages!
We're making this available as we realize it's possible that Keepers may want or need a new copy as they cut the newspaper up for their gaming. You can enjoy this newspaper without our full Call of Cthulhu Classic Prop Set, and you can have fun with it without even having or playing the scenarios from Chaosium's Call of Cthulhu Classic. Some of the bonus articles can serve as jumping-off points for original gaming scenarios of your own!
