The White Reindeer

Finnish horror set in Lapland co-written and directed by Erik Blomberg. When Pirita (Mirjami Kuosmanen) meets an older reindeer herder named Aslak (Kalervo Nissilä) they have a whirlwind romance that results in marriage. However, married life proves to be dull and uninteresting for the insatiable Pirita and so to relieve her boredom she visits a shaman (Arvo Lehesmaa) who concocts a potion for her.
In order for the potion to work however, she must first make a blood sacrifice. Selecting a white reindeer, Pirita gains shapeshifting abilities and her voracious appetite for more sacrifices means no man in the village is safe.
