All 36 episodes from the first part of the 1980s anime series. In the year 1999, an alien battle fortress crash lands on a Pacific island. Over the next decade mankind repairs and refits this fortress using advanced technology found aboard to create fighter planes that can transform into giant robots.
Once the repaired fortress is ready for launch however, the aliens, who the fortress belongs to, finally discover its location and an extra-terrestrial war takes place with devastating consequences for Earth.
