As soon as it was announced that she would be participating in the "100 Artists Exhibition 13," illustrator Gawako's first art book attracted a lot of attention for the presence of her beautiful and powerful works. Although she has only been active as an illustrator for just under two years, she has steadily built up a track record and is one of the most notable illustrators today. This book compiles all of her original illustrations that she has been drawing for many years, as well as her commercial illustrations up until the summer of 2023, and includes 10 newly drawn works on the theme of "Emergence," which is also the title of the book. The making of the illustrations is also included, and we will take a closer look at her ideas and techniques.
