New Year's special of the relaunched sci-fi adventure drama starring Jodie Whittaker as the legendary Time Lord. When an ancient enemy, scattered across the planet, is inadvertently revived by two archaeologists in Sheffield, the Doctor and her companions, Graham (Bradley Walsh), Ryan (Tosin Cole) and Yasmin (Mandip Gill), abandon their New Year's celebrations and set out to defeat it before it tries to take over the world.
