Demons run amok in the beastfolk port town of Ur. Amelia scrambles to evacuate the residents, but the demon Aurum abducts her. Meanwhile, Akira has spent nearly all of his shadow magic defending the city.
In order to save Amelia, he must rely on his sword, Yato-no-Kami, newly restored by the talented blacksmith Crow. With Night at his side, he sets out for the deepest level of the labyrinth. On their way, they encounter the first princess of Uruk, the largest beastfolk country.
