The antagonism between the villagers and Daigo worsens as the days pass. His ongoing investigation of cannibalism within the village leads him to further conflict, and Daigo comes to crossroads in which he’ll have to make a decision. Will he leave the village to minimize the risk to his family, or will he be spurred towards another confrontation with the Goto clan?
