Space - Views from the Hubble Telescope 2022 Calendar

Breathtaking images from space conjure questions about the origins of the universe, the nature of time and space, and our place in the cosmos. From its perch outside our planet's distorting atmosphere, NASA's Hubble Space Telescope provides high-resolution images of stars, nebulas, and distant galaxies. On the ground, specialists painstakingly clean the photographs to help distinguish details. Each of this calendar's 12 images is accompanied by a description of the celestial phenomenon shown. Important dates in space exploration, as well as this year's eclipses and major meteor showers, are noted throughout.
