Son of the White Mare

Animated adaptation of the Hungarian folk tale by poet László Arany, directed by Marcell Jankovics and featuring the voices of György Cserhalmi and Vera Pap. A horse goddess gives birth to her third son, the incredibly strong Treeshaker (voice of Cserhalmi). Left alone in the world after her passing, with only the tales his mother told him as guidance, Treeshaker resolves to destroy the dragons who now control the world.

On his journeys, he meets his two brothers, each bearing their own astounding powers, and the newly-united family head out to find the Underworld, where the dragons are said to dwell.
