Low-budget US thriller starring Will Wheaton and Brian Landis Folkins. In 1990, lonely David (Folkins), who lives in his ailing mother's basement, signs up for a dating service called Video Rendezvous. When he stumbles upon a VHS tape of a show called 'Rent-a-Pal', David finds comfort in the advice of the show's presenter Andy (Wheaton).## However, when David is set up with a potential match, Andy reacts angrily to his viewer's new-found happiness.
